A glimpse into the funky fresh everyday life of Brent, Angie, and our three little taters. I like to think of us as modern day Cleavers without all the housework!

Ellie had her first Jitterbugs dance recital this weekend. It may have been one of the cutest things I have ever seen. She was so excited and practiced all day Friday. Michael was really supportive and kept trying to encourage her about it. He was happy that it was on a Saturday so he got to go watch. For some reason he thought he was going to miss it because of school. Meemaw, Nanny, Pappa, and Ali were all able to come watch. She has a pretty big fan club. Somehow I forgot to charge the digital camera battery so I only got a few good pics with the camera and had to use the ipad for the rest. There goes that Mom of the Year Award I was working on. ;)
The first pic below is right when the curtain opened. I thought she looked like she was going to cry, but once the music started she jumped right in.
These are the only pics from the other performances. I couldnt figure out how to zoom on the ipad so they aren't that great. She is on the front row third from the left.
My parents brought flowers to give to her after the performance. I think she was a little overwhelmed.
And last but definitely not least here is a little video clip from one of the dances. She is still third from the left on the front row. Wasn't crazy about the song, but the dance is adoreable! **If you can't see it below here is the you tube link http://youtu.be/jlKG6AkKdPY
Hi. My name is Angie. I have a husband and three kids and I work in a button factory. Oh wait, that's not me. I DO have a husband and three kids. I work part time for an apparel company, and full time for my family. My husband Brent is a police officer. We were high school sweethearts and have been married 14 years. This blog is where I share my random thoughts and musings about our every day life.
M is eight years old, and very much the boss of our little crew. He is the best helper a girl could ask for. He is super smiley and lots of fun. He always has something to say (translate - he talks ALL DAY EVERY DAY).
Sweet E is four years old and a middle child mess. She can laugh and cry in the same breath. She is crazy independent, lovey, and nurturing. She calls me "mama" which I love.
"Tootie" or the "Tyrant Tater" is the baby of the family and he definitely knows it. He is not about to let the older taters get a leg up on him. He is a picky eater, and a so-so sleeper. He has huge blue eyes and the cutest dimples I have ever seen. We are so proud to call him ours.
Baby Georgia is our sweet angel who has already went to be with Jesus. She would be six years old today. G was stillborn in 2008 due to an umbilical cord accident. We rejoice in the hope that we will be reunited with her in eternity. Hebrews 6:19
